               Thursday, April 9th
       

  • Spelling: Each Thursday I will give you 5 spelling words to study. Please write the following words 2 times each. Make a sentence with 1 of them. bought, cause, August, awful, lawn

  • Health: Rules for Eye Care
  • Make sure your eyes get proper rest.
  • Try not to rub your eyes.
  • Do not run with anything sharp in your hand.
  • Do not look at the sun or other bright lights.
  • Read with a light that shines onto your book and not into your eyes.
  • Have your eyes checked regularly by a doctor.
  • If you wear glasses, keep them clean .   
   

  • Bible: Review Matthew 28 : 6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come see the place where the lord lay.

   As a security measure, Zoom enabled passwords for everyone. Students will need them to log in. I will send you an email to let you know what your password will be.  
     

  • History: Natural Resource - A natural resource is something in nature that God gives people to use.
  • Trees
  • Water
  • Soil
  • Wind
  • On a piece of paper, write ways we use each resource.
  • Example: We use trees to build furniture.

   


  • Bible: Review Matthew 28 : 6  He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come see the place where the lord lay.      
     

  • Reading: In your reading book, please read P. 83 - 85. Review questions  1-3 on P. 86. You do not need to write them.

  •  Lee Christian School will observe Easter Vacation April 10th -17th  
      
  • Math:  Go to Splash Learn for more fun math activities.   Count by 10's, count by 100's, even and odd numbers, compare numbers up to 1,000

  • Phonics:   An exclamatory sentence shows strong feeling and ends with an exclamation point. On a piece of paper, please write an exclamatory sentence that shows joy. Under your sentence, write au or aw to make a word : c_ _ se,               l_ _ n,      dr_ _,      p_ _ se,      f_ _ lt

  •   Reading: In your reading book, please read P.72-75. Review questions 1 and 2 on P.76 

  • Bible: Our new Bible verse will be Matthew 28:6. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. This is our Easter Bible verse. Please review this verse every day this week.
